Pebble Beach to Point Lobos
Some years back, I received the definite impression to purchase a Plein Air easel. This was unusual. Being a studio Artist, I was free from the interferences of insects, drifting plant debris or whirls of sand landing on my canvas or paints.
Regardless of this, I followed the impression received and purchased such a painting easel. It sat neatly perched in the corner of my studio for two-months when I received a call from a fellow Artist who asked me to join her painting outdoors, and I did.
The Plein Air experiences inspired my present studio setup which allows for both.
