“The Banyan Tree”

This banyan tree is close to our home, yet the driveway behind it was not in the story I wished to tell. We can not blame the banyan for where it was planted.

MONOCHROMATIC Blue

Why MONOCHROMATIC And why Blue?

I am at times drawn to paint in monochromatic blue.  Painting with one oil color, the world  simplifies.  It is both a study of what I see while it removes all distractions and quiets the noise, an optimal position in order to observe. By lessening the hard edges of this world, blue offers a dream like view allowing me to a pure view.

Blue is the most gentle color. It speaks calm to everyone.  When comments are made about people dreaming in black and white, I would suggest that it is really blue and white. Blue is the color associated with our God and we receive everything worthwhile from him.
